Bowersock Whitewater Play - April 17, 2011

Five of the play boaters set out to for some fun on the Bowersock Dam in Lawrence. Check out the Synchronized Surfers on the front surf (aka "Smiley"). Red-Tim, Green-Shannon, and Yellow-Puppy.
Then note the purple boat (Barney), floating upside down - earning Mindi her delicious booty beer for being the first to take a swim. Mindi has learned to roll fairly consistently - the water is cold and booty beer is nasty - at the pool sessions held in the winter. (Thank you, Rachel, for taking the pix!)
